As the sun went down

And the party games cleared

A new game emerged.

One that was eerie and weird.

It was a game that strikes a ghostly cord.

It was a Vita Perfetta-style Ouija Board…

The board was laid out.

The planchette was put down.

The room was silent, not a single sound.

Then the silence was broken with flickering lights,

Adding to the scary fun with delight!

Everyone put their hands on the planchette,

And moved it around to see what they’d get.

It must be the spirits, the entire group felt.

What were the spirits saying?

It was anyone’s guess!

“H”, “A”, “V”, and “E”,

“Let’s Have..” ..what could it be?!

“C”, “A”, - a few more letters, then they’d know what it’d say.

But suddenly, a shadowy figure appeared in the doorway!

Everyone gasped, then realized they’d make a mistake.

It wasn’t a scary spirit. It was their mom, with the CAKE!
