Two twin brothers, Lorenzo and Luigi, had always dreamed of opening a food establishment together. The only problem? They couldn’t agree on what they’d serve.
Lorenzo was all about pizza. He wanted to open a pizzeria that was unique, fresh, and would get people talking.
Luigi, on the other hand, had the biggest sweet tooth in the entire family, and thus he wanted to open a cookie bakery.
After weeks, months, and years of arguing, finally, their big sister Maria stepped in with a suggestion: “Why don’t you combine your ideas into one?”
She meant open a pizzeria that sells cookies for dessert, which was the obvious solution here, but the twins took it in another direction and alas, the pizzokie was born!
