GLASS ETCHING
On a hike through the hills, I stumbled upon a little cave, and was shocked by what I found inside…
There were dozens of bottles and glasses, each with their own unique etching! Some had pretty patterns, hearts, flowers, or scenes drawn on them. Some had simple words, phrases, calligraphy, or names. All I knew, was that these must have been done hundreds of years ago, and must be worth a fortune!I gathered them all up into my backpack, and immediately started Googling in search of a historical artifacts assessor, so I could cash in my good fortune! As I started to exit the cave, someone else was about to come in. She looked at me, then noticed my full backpack.“Hey, do you didn’t happen to take any engraved bottles from the cave, did you?” she said.“Uh..maybe..why?” I asked.“Because I’m a Glass Etching artist, and I’m preparing these for an epic birthday party!”“What? No? What I found was a pile of ancient artifacts! Possibly worth millions!”“Take them out, show me these ‘ancient artifacts.’”I took the bottles out of the backpack. In the light of day, I suddenly became less confident that these were, indeed, ancient artifacts.“That’s a bottle of Trader Joe’s Bourbon that says ‘Hey Love’… I should know, because I etched it.”“Oh…my bad.” I sheepishly unloaded my backpack and left the cave. Okay, so maybe those bottles weren’t what I thought. But there were super cool!“Hey, kid! Catch!” The etching artist threw me an etched bottle for me to keep forever!
