Dear Future Me, I went to this amazing event, and they had a service where I could write a letter to my future self or a loved one! It’s a super unique way to recall a special moment, let someone know I’m thinking of them, or remind myself of a fun memory or meaningful affirmation. And once the letter arrives at my home a few weeks or months later, I’ll have a special keepsake, written by me! During the event, I went up to the Dear Future Me station, where they had curated stationary, specialty pens, stamps, and other decorative elements I could use to craft my letter. I even took a photo and included an Instax-style print inside the envelope. Once the team sealed it up, they kept it safe until the host’s selected mailing date. Months later, probably just when I had forgotten about the letter, it’ll arrive in my mailbox as a fun surprise reminder of the event and the emotions I was feeling in that moment. Many guests wrote letters to their future selves, but also to parents, grandparents, best friends, partners or spouses, children, or other event attendees. Letters can be scheduled out for 1 month, 3 months, or 6 months after the event. The event I’m writing from is a birthday party, but Dear Future Me is perfect for weddings, birthdays, graduations, mitzvahs, corporate events/retreats, brand activations, holiday parties, and New Year’s events.
